ARTICLE- English Grammar 

Article :- An article is a word which is used to modify a noun ( person, place , object, or    idea).

Article is of two type :-
  1. Definite Article   ( Specific- "The" )
  2. Indefinite Article ( not specific- "A/An")

1. A/An 

Uses - A
  •                Singular
  •                countable noun
Explanation:
             Jab koi chiz ek ho and countable ho toh hum a use karte hai ya consonant sound 
  
 Ex: I own a cat and two dogs.
Uses - An 
  
  •     before vowel sound ( a, fe, i, o, u )
  •      Singular 
 Ex:
     She is a doctor.
     She is an engineer.

2. The:


Uses- The 
  •      Specific
  •      Known or sure 

Explanation:
           Jab hum sure hote hai kisi chiz ko leke ya hum point out karte hai particularly. Example se  aur clear ho jaega lets see

Ex:
  •      Give me a book. ( yaha hum particularly nhi bata rhe ki kaun si book maang rha hai.)
  •      Give me the book that I gave you.( yaha hum particularly bata rhe hai ki woh book do jo                                                                     main di thi)


 More examples:
    A boy is standing over there. The boy is smart.
    I am going to the class. ( speaker know ki kaun se class me jaana hai ).

  •    The USA 
  •    The UAE
